Natural History Museum – London

Camera Obscura and World of Illusions – Edinburgh
Deemed as one of Britain’s oldest attractions, Camera Obscura and World of Illusions has six floors full of puzzles, special effects, games and other interactive activities for children to learn from and enjoy. Founded in 1835 by instrument maker Thomas Short, Camera Obscura is situated on the top floor offering a live projection of a “virtual tour” of the city of Edinburgh. The five floors below are full of interactive exhibits demonstrating aspects of optical illusions, colour, and light. Camera Obscura is a sensory playground and everyone can enjoy interacting with puzzles, getting lost in mazes and trying out the vortex tunnel.
Stonehenge – Wiltshire
Stonehenge is amongst the UK’s most special locations that are bound to spark awe in adults and children of all ages. It is not called a wonder of the world for no reason, after all. The prehistoric monument, which was built about 5000 years ago in the year 2500 BC, is a marvel to behold, especially for children.
